In short: your reminders never leave your PC. We don’t run analytics or tracking. When you buy or start a trial, Lemon Squeezy, our reseller, handles your name, email and payment. The app only goes online to check your license key.

Who we are

Easy Reminder is made by Easy Reminder App (“we”, “us”). Questions about privacy: support@easyreminder.click.

The Easy Reminder app

Your reminders and settings stay on your PC, in your Windows user folder. We never receive them.
No telemetry, analytics or crash reporting. The app doesn’t report how you use it.
License checks. When you activate or deactivate a license key, and about once a month while a key is active, the app contacts Lemon Squeezy’s license server (api.lemonsqueezy.com). It sends your license key and your PC’s name, so you can see which PCs use your license and move it later. Lemon Squeezy replies with your license details, such as the name and email on the order and how many PCs it covers.
The free trial runs entirely on your PC and sends nothing.

Buying and the free trial

Orders, including the $0 free-trial checkout, are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects what’s needed to complete the order: your name, email address, billing country and, for paid orders, payment details. We never see your card details. Lemon Squeezy’s handling of your data is described in its privacy policy.

Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email, country and order details with us. We use them to deliver your purchase, provide support, handle refunds and send important notices about your license. We’ll only send marketing emails, such as news and offers, if you opted in at checkout, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

This website

easyreminder.click doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation libraries from cdnjs (Cloudflare). Those services receive your IP address as part of a normal web request. Opening a checkout loads Lemon Squeezy’s checkout, which uses the cookies it needs to process the order. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security, and deletes them on a rolling basis.

Support emails

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We use it for nothing else.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the business (Lemon Squeezy for orders and licenses, our web and email host), or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and license records as long as your license exists, and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails are deleted when they’re no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@easyreminder.click. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you have further rights, including complaining to your data protection authority. Records Lemon Squeezy must keep as the seller are covered by its policy.

Children

Easy Reminder isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also email customers.
